Awesome!

This app is great at identifying every plant photo Ive ever sent in. It is also very user friendly!

I Love this app!

I love this app! I have used it a half dozen times and get my answer to a plant identification within a day or two. Simply amazing! Thank you!

Cant even use it

Just uploaded to try it out and having no luck. Continue to receive error message when taking photo trough app as well as uploading from library. No good if cant get passed step 1. Also tried reloading app after deleting but getting same error response. Waste my time

Canard

OK. Lets try this again. Do not get this app. It is a canard in the true sense of the word...a hoax or out and out lie. I first posted a photo of an unusual perennial I saw in Ireland. It came back as a bush that looked nothing like the photo. Then to test it I posted a very clear photo of a common white single petal rose with a golden crown in the center. The first choice I was offered was that it was a periwinkle. Is this a joke? I tested it twice more and got ridiculous answers. But of course I could pay for an "expert" to look at the photo and probably come up with the right answer. I say again, do not get this app. I am deleting it right now. I would give it negative stars if I could.

Not that great

Has failed to identify any of the flowers through a photo so far.

Disappointing

I have a random tree growing in a large pot. This app identifies it as everything from succulents to vines, but nothing remotely accurate. Sure I could pay an expert, but Id rather take a trip to my local nursery and get free advice. One star for my experience, and a second in hopes it works better for flowers.

5 out of 5 plants totally wrong!!

I have an associates degree in Horticulture and have my own gardening business. I found a very large weed that I couldnt identify so I downloaded this app. Not only were the suggestions completely wrong, most of the results were identified incorrectly! I then proceeded to upload 5 more pictures of common flowers that anyone can buy at a store and, again, every one was wrong! Im guessing they do this on purpose to get you to pay the $2.00. I understand they need to make a living but dont do it dishonestly or by tricking people! I wonder if their "expert" advice is correct, but I wont be giving them my money to find out!

Wow I needed the info for a flower show and

They came through

Easy to use

Lots of trees out there and I no longer need to carry a book. Most can be identified using the comparisons on the App but for $1.99 you can get a definitive answer for the trickier ones.

Many wrong answers

I have used this app a number of times for plant id and have found it to be wrong most times. While I may not have known what the plant was I did know that it wasnt any of their suggestions. Also I have not seen a way to give feedback. For instance, if I later was able to identify the mystery plant there was no way to pass along correct information.

So helpful

I find this app to be the most helpful out of the other identifying apps I have tried so far. Its easy to identify the plant/flower once you found a match, and you can learn a little more about it under each matching photo. I really love this app. The other apps Ive tried will give you the long Latin name and it tends to get confusing.

Fan-freaking-tactic!!!!

Best plant identifying app out there! Had some rather difficult-angled shots of a shrub, sent it in to the expert, and within hours I had the response! Totally worth the money! And will most certainly be using this app frequently!!!!!

Expert answers correct

Expert answers have been quick and correct and you pay for each question you send, $1.99 I think. The automatic image recognition you get for free however is not always correct - it needs improvement.

not dependable, frustrating.

when it works, its fine. but here are my criticisms: you cant focus the in-app camera for a closeup, so you have to exit the app, take a photo with the camera app, then go back to the plant app. when you get a result and you share to pinterest, zero information is shared. you just get an app badge for the image and you have to write your own caption. but the reason i just deleted the app from my phone is that i havent been able to connect to the servers for a while now. (yes i tried via cell data and wifi.) i used to love the app but im so frustrated by not being able to connect that i deleted it.

Great!

Great Ap! Quick and informative answers to those endless questions - is it a weed or something Id like to keep!

Poison Ivy Resource

This app has helped me tremendously! Every year during deer season I somehow get a reaction from poisonous plants. I have started to use this app and it is the best weapon I have to keep from contacting those pesky poisoners. Thank you for creating this app!

Great start

I like the design, and in theory would be great but there is a LOT of incorrect information. Plants are not identified correctly, and many are lumped with plants that they are not even related to. If the botanical info is updated would be a nifty app.

Easy and fast

Easy to take a picture and compare to other similar plants. Just what I wanted.

Life saving!

I found a gorgeous vine in my backyard and wanted to find out more about it. Maybe even transplant some around the front. Checked with the professionals on the app to identify how to care for it, only to find out it is nightshade! Poisonous to humans and highly dangerous for the kids! I am so thankful that i had this app at my fingertips. I will be using it on all plants in question from now on!

Total waste of download time

Completely useless Had some plants I wanted to id but before trying the u know, tried the known Took a pic of morning glory it identifies it as hops Took a pic of a lime tree it identified it as watermelon Took a pic of a puff mushroom, it identified it as a dandelion Better off typing leaf into google there you can see lots of random pics at once I stream of a couple at a time
